Terms and Conditions of Use - Type

Welcome to Type, an app managed by EtereaGames. These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the EtereaGames website (“Site”) and the Type application (“Product”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site or the Product. By accessing or using the Site or the Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Site or the Product.
01Definitions
1.1 EtereaGames
Refers to the company that owns and operates the Site and the Product.
1.2 User
Refers to any person who accesses or uses the Site or the Product.
1.3 Product
Refers to the Type application, including all updates, enhancements, and related content provided by EtereaGames.
1.4 UGC
“User-Generated Content” refers to any content, such as posts, images, comments, and other materials that users create and share on Type.
02Access and Use
2.1 Age Eligibility
Access to and use of the “Type” Site and Product are permitted only to individuals who are 15 years of age or older. If you are under 15, you may not create an account or use the Product.
2.1(a) Age Verification and Accuracy
EtereaGames may implement age-assurance measures (e.g., age declaration, operating-system or app-store age signals, and consistency checks) solely to determine eligibility and apply age-appropriate settings. If we cannot verify that you are at least 15, we may deny account creation or restrict use. Providing false age information may result in suspension or termination of the account.
2.1(b) Settings for Minors (15–17)
For users aged 15–17, certain features may be limited and privacy settings more restrictive by default (e.g., private profile by default, limits on direct messages from non-friends, location features off).
2.1(c) Local Compliance
In jurisdictions that impose specific obligations for minor access (e.g., age verification or approvals for significant changes), EtereaGames may apply additional restrictions or choose not to offer the Product to ineligible users. In the event of discrepancies between declared country, store/payment country, or access location, EtereaGames may apply the most restrictive rule.
- 2.2 The User agrees to use the Site and the Product exclusively for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws.
- 2.3 EtereaGames reserves the right to suspend or terminate the User’s access to the Site or the Product at any time and without notice if the User violates these Terms.
- 2.4 The User agrees not to post any content that is illegal, harmful, offensive, discriminatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others.
03Intellectual Property
- 3.1 All content, materials, trademarks, logos, and other elements present on the Site and in the Product are the property of EtereaGames or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- 3.2 The User may not copy, modify, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any content or material from the Site or the Product without the prior written consent of EtereaGames.
- 3.3 The User retains ownership of any content they create and share on Type. However, by posting content on Type, the User grants EtereaGames a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, modify, and distribute such content for purposes related to the operation of the platform.
04License to Use
- 4.1 EtereaGames grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Site and the Product for personal and non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.
- 4.2 The User may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Product.
05Payments and Refunds
- 5.1 Some features of the Product may require payments. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise specified by EtereaGames or required by applicable law.
- 5.2 EtereaGames reserves the right to change the prices of paid services and features at any time. Any changes will not affect previously made purchases.
06Limitation of Liability
6.1 The Site and the Product are provided “as is” and “as available.” EtereaGames does not warrant that the Site or the Product will be error-free, virus-free, or free from other harmful components.
6.2 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, EtereaGames will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Site or the Product.
07Changes to the Terms
- 7.1 EtereaGames reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the Site.
- 7.2 Continued use of the Site or the Product after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
08Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1 Users are informed that the European Commission provides an online platform for alternative dispute resolution, which can be accessed at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
09Privacy and Data Protection
9.1 EtereaGames will collect and process users’ personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which users must agree to when using Type.
10Content Moderation and Removal
10.1 EtereaGames reserves the right to remove or restrict access to any content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or that is deemed inappropriate or harmful.
